Far from the clichés and myths portrayed by certain media, Colombia boasts one of the highest growth rates in all Latin America. Pierre Brouwers travelled a country blessed with an unsuspected variety of landscapes. From the Andean peaks to the Amazonian rain forests to the Pacific and Caribbean shorelines. Visiting Western-style cities, colonial quarters, fishing villages and beautiful countryside, the film is an encounter with a population marked by disarming optimism, who ask for nothing more than to get their country better known. A non-stop discovery.
