At Strokestown House the volunteer servants wake up to a day of 18th century hard work. They have to get to grips with running the house and the kitchen staff must prepare a banquet from a 300 year old menu and to serve it as it would have been served hundreds of years ago. Presenter Bryan Murray travels around some of the grandest and wealthiest houses to find out more about the opulence of what is called the Golden Age of the Big House.
