Helmand Province, Afghanistan, 31 March, 2008, a young 22 year old Lieutenant from 40 Royal Commando, lies dying on the road blown up by a landmine. He is comforted by a Royal Navy Chaplain, who cradles him in his arms. During the last 6 months the two men have become unlikely friends, the chaplain one of the few people the young 22 year old lieutenant could talk to about the burden of command.
